Likely the most popular resolution no matter where you live, achieving better fitness during the new year is a great way to improve both physical and mental health. Luckily, Trinity offers seven different apartment communities across San Francisco with fitness centers available to all residents. Many of these spaces have been recently renovated, and we invite you to explore our apartments and fitness centers at 1177 Market, 1190 Mission, 1188 Mission, 33 8th, 888 O’Farrell, 1550 Bay, and 2000 Broadway!

Venture to Nearby Beaches

Clipper Cove Beach - Kirby Beach

SF may not feel like a beach town, but The City by the Bay has plenty of beautiful spots to visit.

While San Francisco beaches may not get the attention other California coastal cities receive, there is a boatload of delightful spots to take in the views and play in the sand. The immaculate San Francisco coastline is the perfect place to relax, play with your pup, fly a kite, or even surf and swim! Just across The Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County, the Marin Headlands present an excellent day trip that can be visited by car, ferry, bike, board, or foot!

Hike Around The City

Lands End Lookout - Golden Gate Park

Urban hiking is a must in a city with such great weather and stunning scenery.

Believe it or not, you don’t need to leave the city limits to find an array of scenic hikes with no shortage of elevation changes! San Francisco is a city of hills, and each of them provides unique vantage points of The City skyline and nature all around. SF’s network of urban hiking trails cross many iconic neighborhoods and traverse through endless green spaces and parks that make you forget you’re still in San Francisco.

Cook Fresh & Local Food

Ferry Building - Metropolitan area

No matter where you live in San Francisco, there is a Farmers’ Market nearby!

Positioned just a short drive from California’s fertile Central Valley, Farmers’ Markets are plentiful across San Francisco. Selling fresh and local fruits, vegetables, meats, grains, fully-cooked meals, and more, a weekend trip to Farmers’ Market is an excellent and fun way to feed yourself while supporting local businesses. The City’s largest and most well-known Farmers’ Market is found at the Ferry Plaza, where 40,000+ shoppers visit weekly to purchase local food and try offerings from farmers, vendors, and renowned Bay Area chefs.

Utilize Public Transit

Cloudsplitter Gondola - San Francisco cable car system

SF’s Cable Car system makes riding public transit fun, unique, and historic.

All San Franciscans know that parking can be a challenge in The City, and utilizing public transit is fun, fast, and affordable! SF has multiple transportation options, with Cable Cars and Streetcars most recognizable. These colorful and historic transit systems glide around San Francisco’s most popular destinations. Stops are available just outside 1000 Chestnut, 2140 Taylor, and Trinity Place!
