1. SFMOMA

Free admission for Bay Area residents on the first Thursday of every month from 1-8 pm. Enjoy SFMoma’s galleries with vibrant and inspiring art for free. Tickets are available about two weeks in advance and reserving online is encouraged. SFMoma is a short distance away from Trinity Place!
2. Asian Art Museum

Free general admission on the first Sunday of each month is offered. Special exhibitions are also at a discounted rate of $10 on First Sundays. There is limited same-day availability for both general admission and special exhibition tickets so reserving tickets ahead of time is encouraged. The Asian Art Museum is within walking distance from Trinity Towers and Trinity Place so our residents can enjoy this spot at their convenience!
3. Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park

The Japanese Tea Garden is now free for all SF residents with valid ID! Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9 am – 10 am, admission is free for all (even non residents). Enjoy walking through beauty and tranquility in the heart of SF’s Golden Gate Park. Pagodas, lanterns, and koi ponds are a few exciting features of this Japanese garden. Don’t miss out on a comforting cup of green tea at their café or souvenirs from the gift shop during your visit.

Free admission to all Bay Area residents every Saturday. General admission is also free on the first Tuesday of every month. Free admission days only apply for the permanent collection galleries. Visitors are encouraged to book ticket reservations online in advance. Enjoy roaming around this fine art museum for free!

Located in SF’s Castro District close by our Dolores St Apartments, browse art celebrating the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender history and culture in the United States.
