Chinatown YMCA 44th Annual Lunar New Year Run

While last year’s 5k/10k run was entirely virtual, participants will have the opportunity to participate in-person or virtually this year! The in-person event will begin at the Chinatown YMCA on March 6th at 8:00 am, and participants of all ages are encouraged to join. This event is a great way to help you stay committed to your fitness-related New Year’s Resolutions in 2022!
Lunar New Year Wildlife Adventure at McLaren Park

Lunar New Year Pop-Up at The Ferry Building

San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building is joining in on the Lunar New Year fun with a four-week pop-up that takes place from January 22nd – February 13th on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Marketplace will include handmade decorations and lanterns created by local Chinatown shops. Known as one of the best places to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, and local foods in the Bay Area, the Ferry Building Farmers’ Market also takes place each weekend.
